Willie Dixon would have turned 100 years old on July 1st, 2015. He changed and rejuvenated the blues by writing great songs. Let's do some more of that!

Year of the Blues Songwriter makes the news!
Encouraging to find that other people might be interested in better blues songs! This article about my campaign appeared in the Minneapolis newspaper yesterday.
Great article on you and burgeoning better blues writers I have used my fill in the blanks blues activity in music therapy groups to have each person write and perform their blues. Good luck on your warm southern tour!
Larry, I'd like to experience that process. I'm trying to come up with a way to help young musicians write blues lyrics that relate to their real, day-to-day concerns and use their everyday vocabulary
